Our kura wishes to thank the organisations shown here, who support our kura through various sponsorships and grants. Without our whanau who manage these trusts, we wouldn’t be able to provide many learning experiences and resources for our students. Nō reira, e kore e mutu i ngā mihi ki a koutou katoa.
Te Kāhui Mātua Kaiako – Parent Teacher Association
Our PTA works endlessly to support our students with reading, class work, and they also raise extra funds through their operation of our kura canteen. Their help is always appreciated, and they make life at our kura that much easier for our students to experience learning at its best.
Headed by Marewa Burgess (Aunty Pet), the PTA manages the canteen through other parents and whanau who give their time everyday to ensure that our students have a variety of healthy, yummy kai available at ōparamanawa (playtime) and ōpuku (lunchtime).
Our canteen ladies Tamarah and Steph manage our canteen – organising shopping, planning menus and “manning” the canteen at break times. The students not only get friendly “whānau” service, they get kai made with that extra serving of aroha. Staff love their menu as much as students too.
