Kaiako Rumaki Taupua - Tau 6

Me tuhi i ētahi kaitohutoro kia toru.

Heoi anō, hai te Paraire, te 10 o Hanuere ā te 4pm te wā kopi ai i ngā tono mō tēnei kaupapa.

As a result of roll increase in our kura, our rumaki unit roll has increased. We seek a fixed term teacher (for 2025) to teach Year 6 in rumaki reo Māori.

The kura adheres to Te Marautanga ā-kura o Te Teko and Te Marautanga o Aotearoa as planning contexts for our students, also as teaching and learning guidelines for them.  We follow tikanga of Ngāti Awa ki Rangitaiki iwi in all student learning contexts, so they may be confident in our kura philosophy, “Tauaki te tū…”

Applicants should be able to complete all necessary paperwork such as planning, individual education plans and also be able to use various digital platforms utilised by teaching staff.  The overriding premise of the kura is to work collaboratively to ensure each student learns.  It is also expected throughout staff that collective effort ensures the saying, “it takes a village to raise a child”

Although the kura has two units – both rumaki reo Māori and auraki reo Pākehā, there remains a united pursuit toward the future that will ensure student achievement is accelerated in preparation for the world beyond.

Write a letter of application to the principal including your CV.  Include three referees with your CV.  Applications may be sent digitally.

Applications will close at 4pm on Friday, 10 January 2025.
